"Squirrels Have Hard Lives" by Sydney

Good morning. I am Sydney the squirrel. And I eat a lot of nuts.  The problem with me is I scratch my nose a LOT! Well I guess all squirrels do but you haven’t seen me.  Ok let’s get back to the story: Why a Squirrel’s Life is So Hard.  One day my dad, well he got the weed hacker.  Let me tell you about it.  He was collecting nuts when he ran into the weed hacker.  I kind of miss him.  Then let me tell you what happened to me.  I was walking in the grass when this hug dog ran up and licked me.  Ever since then I itch my nose.  That is why a squirrel’s life is so hard.  I’m Sydney and come back soon!
The End

"Ashley and the Seeds!" By Michaela Welch

There once was a little girl named Ashley. She planted a rose bush but one little problem was going on. It didn’t grow a rose bush. She watered them and fed them some flower food and they still didn’t grow. She said “I have had enough of this rose bush! I am just going to leave them here and let them die!” The next day, Ashley saw that the rose bush had grown all by itself. She went to bed that night but when she woke up the rose bush had gotten even bigger! “I think these rose seeds must be magic!” Each day the rose bush grew bigger and bigger. Ashley lived happily ever after with her rose bush!
The End.

"Did You Ever Go Fishing?"

Did you ever go fishing on a bright summer day? Sit on a fence and let the fence give way? Slide off the fence and rip your pants and see the little fishies do the oochie- koochie dance?
The End

"What’s That Smell" by Abbey

One day a kid named Junior smelled something gross. HE asked his friend “What is that horrible smell?” His friend replied, “Oh, that’s your mother cooking that horrible smell.”

The End.

"A Day with Mom" by Taylor

One day my mom was rushing to get to work on time. But she was so tired she called her boss and said “I’m not coming to work today because I am so busy and I am tired”. So my mom’s boss said, “Go have fun.” Then my mom called my school and said, “I’m so tired that I can’t drive my kids to school.” So the principle said, “Keep your kids at home.” And my mom said, “Ok.” Then we got to have ice-cream. Then we got to go the park to have fun and so did my sister and my brother. My mom had fun watching us kids. Then the next day it was a hot Saturday but even though it was hot we went to the park with my mom and I had fun.
The End.
